Having a Civil Ceremony at the Courthouse

MISSOURI -
Weddings ceremonies are performed by judges of the
Circuit Court as NO CHARGE.  The ceremony is performed on a certain date
at a certain time and paperwork must be completed.

As many as 22-25 other couples are waiting to be married just like you !
You must have applied and received a Marriage License before coming to the Circuit Court.

Two adult witnesses are needed and a small number of guests are allowed - if space allows.
Dress and attitude that are appropriate to this commitment is required.  Check the links and phone numbers

which you are having the ceremony performed.

A judge presiding over any municipality may perform a civil marriage ceremony. Municipal judges may be found
in the telephone directory blue pages under "city offices" by locating a municipality and finding a phone
number for the municipal court. An appointment is required.

Whatever type of ceremony you choose, the most important thing to remember is to do what makes you happy
as a couple.  It is your wedding after all!
